Best of Luck to Pfadt Race Engineering

Pfadt Suspension on my 2005 Corvette project

I can't say enough great things about Pfadt's products and service, very sad to see them shut the doors

Four years after I began my journey in this industry I saw a small and reputable company grow from the best kept secret in C5 Corvette suspension to the biggest player in C5 and C6 suspension, virtually by word of mouth. Then the fifth-gen Camaro dropped, and they were all over that market, too. I had the pleasure of getting to know the Pfadt family, I actually drove their in-house fifth-gen Camaro around Spring Mountain. And then we later installed that same suspension on AntiVenom's 2010 Camaro SS. I began to admire the level quality, precise engineering, and thought that went into all of their products. So it should come as no surprise that I jumped at the chance to install and test the new Johnny O'Connell suspension on my very own 2005 Corvette project.

As the result it gives me displeasure to hear that Pfadt Race Engineering has closed its doors. As Aaron Pfadt mentions in his note, GM met its own financial issues recently as did our own company. I sincerely hope that Pfadt has as much success rebounding as GM and SIM have.
