Welcome the new EcoTec3 engine family from GM. Set to power the 2014 Silverado and Sierra line, these three engines borrow technology from the 2014 C7 LT1, pacakged as affordable solutions for the masses. All engines will feature AFM, VVT, and Direct Injection, along with all aluminum construction and a plethora of new advancements.
