Power in the palm of your hand

Last week, we spent some time with Max Wyman, the Marketing Director for DiabloSport, to learn a bit about the new DiabloSport InTune handheld tuner. 

Touted by DiabloSport as the "latest and most advanced handheld programmer available today" the InTune is pretty much what you would expect from a high-tech handheld tuner. It can load tunes, comes with a color touch screen, is easy to use and plugs in to any PC or MAC with a simple USB connection.

However, what we really liked about the InTune was its ability to quickly and easily load tunes, both into the car and onto the actual unit. Have you ever tried to use an older generation device with a custom tune in an email? Then you probably know how confusing it is... Plug it in (assuming you have a serial port), wait around, let the software update, go to some weird menu that's buried in a random/confusing spot, load the file into a cryptic box, hit send and hope that everything works.

With the new InTune, you simply plug the unit in (USB) and drag your tune onto the InTune icon. That's it, it's loaded and you're ready to go!

Now, we haven't had a chance to try the actual tunes out yet, but we're sure they work great. More updates to come...
