LINGENFELTER SPONSORS TRUE STREET CLASS AT 2011 HOLLEY LS FEST

Lingenfelter Performance Engineering has teamed up with Holley Performance Products to sponsor the True Street drag race class event at the Holley LS Fest, Sept. 9-11, 2011, at Beech Bend Raceway Park in Bowling Green, Ky.

The True Street Class, which is a heads up class designed for fast street cars, is one of six classes in the Scoggin Dickey Parts Center Drag Racing portion of the Holley LS Fest.  All participants will complete a 30-mile cruise before heading back to Beech Bend to make three passes down the track, which will be averaged to determine the winner of each index.

In addition to sponsoring the True Street Class, Lingenfelter will have two drag race cars participating in this year’s Holley LS Fest.  Last year, LPE attended and won the 2010 Camaro Pontiac G8 Class with their 2010 LS9 Supercharged Camaro.  Lingenfelter also plans to participate in the 2012 event, racing their new Camaro in the Real Street Class.
