Summit Racing has just released their 2010/2011 Show Car Series Schedule and the list of cities and shows is impressive. With 37 events between November 25th to April 18th, in over 37 cities from Quebec, Canada to Shreveport, Louisiana - you have no excuse to not attend one of these shows!

TALLMADGE, OH—From Pomona, California to Boston, Massachusetts—and everywhere in between—the world’s largest indoor car show series is set to keep the hot rodding scene alive and well during the cold winter months. The Summit Racing Equipment Show Car Series, America's premier custom car show series, has announced a 37-event schedule for the 2010-2011 season, including the Detroit Autorama and Chicago World of Wheels.
The Summit Racing Equipment Show Car Series showcases custom cars, trucks, motorcycles, hot rods, race vehicles, antique cars, and other vehicles worth millions of dollars. The events are expected to attract over a total of two million attendees. The shows include an International Show Car Association (ISCA)-sanctioned competition in seven categories, including Truck/Van, Competition, Rod, Custom, Bike, Antique/Restored, and Street Machine. Contestants vie for part of a total series purse in cash and prizes of $85,000 and compete for several additional prestigious awards such as the Detroit Autorama’s famed Ridler Award.
“We’re excited to support America’s number one show car series again for the 2010-2011 season,” Jim Greenleaf, Summit Racing Equipment Motorsports and Events Manager, said. “These shows have something for everyone, whether you’re into hot rods, trucks, or motorcycles, and we’re happy to be a part of it.”
The 2010-2011 Summit Racing Equipment Show Car Series will kick off November 25-28 in Houston, Texas and includes four trips north of the border to Canadian venues. The complete schedule is included in the attached file.
Summit Racing Equipment assumed title sponsorship of the series in 2009. In addition to Summit Racing Equipment Show Car Series Career Days and the Kid’s Choice Awards presented by Summit Racing, which will be offered at many of the shows, Summit Racing will also bring its Summit Racing/BIGFOOT Monster Truck to three shows—Dallas, Milwaukee, and Chicago—for a demonstration. “We don’t want to be just a name on the title of the series, we want to be involved in the events and the people who attend them,” Greenleaf said. “In addition to the Summit Racing Equipment display, which will be many of the events, we’re excited to bring out our monster truck.”
