Is Edelbrock really being sold?

In recent weeks, we have heard several reports that Edelbrock, one of the oldest and most trusted hot rod brands in the country, is being sold to a German venture capital group. As the rumor goes, Vic Edelbrock will remain a player in the new company but the German firm will own a controlling interest along with a majority of the Edelbrock portfolio.
