By the looks of things, 2010 could bring a new nitrous LS1 record. The folks at RPM are reportedly revamping their shop car, which still has the record among the late model stock suspension crowd at 8.12–only bested by Uncle Robin's Nova. In addition, several RPM affiliates and disciples will be fielding some very fast nitrous combinations to be competing in local 275 radial classes. There is even a west coast contender, which draws help from Mr. LS1, Kurt Urban. This is shaping up to be an interesting year, especially with three LS races in which they could potentially compete.
