A freak and tragic accident on July 24, 2009 has left Blake Robinson of Waco, TX without a left leg, and now a group of kind-hearted souls are helping to raise money for his past medical bills as well as the long road ahead. Blake's story as well as information about how you can help can be found at www.awalkwithblake.com. This story was called to my attention by Nitro Dave, who is trying to also raise awareness about nitrous bottle safety. Though it was a seemingly safe and unmolested bottle that came in Blake's recent car purchase, its true history was unknown and it spontaneously exploded inside his shop. This prompted Nitro Dave to lower his prices on bottles in the hopes of promoting new bottle purchases and preventing further tragedies.
