Lingenfelter decided to make the most of a trip to the Bowling Green, KY-based Corvette plant in stopping by Beech Bend (during the GS Nationals) in order to do some drag testing of its ZR1 development vehicle. A cool 11.3 at 131mph pass was made in front of my very own eyes with a soft launch. Apparently the MT drag radial equipped Vette was a bit tricky to get out of the whole. Lingenfelter's test driver said it was sporting a pulley to up boost to 14psi, a high flow intake and a custom tune as well as CCW wheels, skinnies and the drag radials. Development on an exhaust system and cylinder head and intake modifications will soon be underway. Imagine the possibilities.
