The Pimpala's Demise

24 Hours of LeMons attracts all kinds

For the first time, GMHTP will be giving an inside look at the 24 Hours of LeMons for the November '09 issue. It happened to be one of my Contributing Editors' first experience with the cheap, fun and hilarious race...in his second go-round his team entered this 2000 Impala nicknamed "Pimpala," which was appropriately adorned with whitewalls, plenty of bling, cheetah print, and too many gaudy accessories to list. For its crimes against common decency, Pimpala was given the dreaded People's Curse and destroyed in a melee of carnage comparable to the L.A. riots.
