I am pleased to announce that our August issue hit news stands on Tuesday, so go out and grab yourself a copy. This is one of my favorite issues (personally) we have done in a long time. There are several amazing features such as the SAM 500cid Z28, the Val's Performance E85 powered big cube GTO, and Mark Piccione's 441-cube LS1 TA. I'm a bit of a big cube all-motor freak, and Mark's mid-9-second street-going TA played to that perfectly (as did the others). I had the pleasure of meeting Mark at the photo shoot as well as his late brother, and it truly was my pleasure. Both were class acts, and I wish the world had more like them.
Additionally, this issue had an LT1 head shootout on a Golen 383 that I think the Gen II guys are really going to love. Meanwhile the Gen III/IV have a head buyer's guide, Part 1 of a home-built budget 408, and an install of a tall-deck Warhawk block in a fourth-gen. Enjoy!
