The new Chairman of GM says...

“I don’t know anything about cars,” Whitacre, 67, said yesterday in an interview after his appointment. “A business is a business, and I think I can learn about cars. I’m not that old, and I think the business principles are the same.”

Right off the bat, this doesn't look good for us on the "Performance" side of things.

But, there may be hope. GM (hopefully) makes money with cool cars that have LS based motors in them, so that is a plus. Also, maybe someone with 'business sense' understands the value of good advertising and promotion.

Lets all hope for the best!
