Things have been hectic around GMHTP headquarters between the holidays, ordinary day-to-day operations, the hiring of an Associate Editor, and the upcoming relocation of the magazine (more on that later). But as I just finished our event coverage of the 2008 AETC, I felt it appropriate to get the word out that this year's conference was a blast. Sure it was long and a little pricey, but if your livelihood was dependent on the LSX market then you had to be there. There wasn't a single person, the speakers included, that didn't learn quite a bit. During break time, lunch and cocktail hour everyone was making new connections and reaffirming old ones left and right. The highlight of the event for me was hearing tuning expert Greg Bannish's comparison of carburetors to urination, not to mention the presentations of Kenny Duttweiler and Judson Massengill (two of the most knowledgeable late model GM engine builders in the country).
