I know times are tough and money is tight, but occasionally we all need to blow off some steam. And on more than one occasion the hot rod is in pieces or the track is closed, so that leaves only heavy drinking, hard drugs, gambling, "massages," kicking the family cat, spitting on old people, and stealing candy from children to release some tension. Unfortunately most of those things I have found to be frowned upon by society and can get you arrested, divorced, shot or beaten severely. At the very least you will be making some unsavory friends in public restrooms, and who knows what that leads to. But at last, I have found one exceptionally pleasing release to the daily pressures with no negative consequences. Karting.
Only a mile or so from GMHTP command central is a karting facility known as V-17 where the entire staff has commanded these electric chariots of pleasure on at least one occasion, all with plastered smiles of exhilaration. There is even another high-class facility not far across the New York border called Grand Prix New York that I have also spent the better part of a day at, thanks to the folks at Coyne PR. From what I hear there are some pretty serious racing leagues at Grand Prix. I have even toyed with buying a kart and racing in Englishtown's league. Trust me when I say this sport isn't just for kids. Whether you are just looking to kill some time, blow off some steam, book a birthday party, or even looking to entertain some business associates or potential clients–karting is definitely a good idea.
