An LS7 with Twins

Brutal Power

I never thought I'd say this, but sometimes you really can have too much power. I was lucky enough to cover a build with APS's new C6 ZO6 Twin Turbo kit, and the combination of instant boost and the magnificent 427 LS7 is unimaginable. I've been in some 800+rwhp rides before, but this thing took the cake. Not only did it have that familiar brain sloshing, out of control top end power, but it was so brutal down low that you have no choice but to shift at 4000rpm in the first three gears as even the grippiest street tires wildly let loose. Thankfully the C6's stiff chassis, slick aerodynamics, ample brakes and smooth ride make it a whole lot less scary than some of the rusty old F-bodies I'm accustomed (such as my own). Look for this Redline Motorsports build in an upcoming issue of GMHTP.
