High-tech toys make this GMPP crate swap a breeze...

Well, OK: not exactly a breeze, but when I hooked up with Passaic, NJ's TTP and tossed my factory LS1 for a 480-horse GM Performance Parts LS crate motor, we used several parts from well-know shops like Lingenfelter to make it way easier. Case in point? A 58x to 24x adapter harness so we didn't have to disassemble this new engine and swap the reluctor wheel to work with my factory LS1 PCM.

This puppy is just about finished, then it's onto TTP's dyno for tuning and power numbers, and then to Raceway Park to get some drag numbers out of it (and thanks to a few revelations we've had with the drivetrain, I'll finally be able to powershift!)

Stay tuned...
