Exotic Performance Plus Gunning for 8s

It is safe to say that Exotic Performance Plus left an indelible image associated with the LSX Shootout thanks to the monumental wheel stand last year. EPP's orange Procharged Hugger Orange Camaro graced the cover of many magazines (including GMHTP) and posters from the event, and really helped launch the event as the place to be in the LS community. In addition, it spoke volumes about the new Moser Engineering 9-inch rear end and torque arm that enabled it. As you would expect, EPP plans to return again this year with their Camaro that has undergone quite a few changes. First the front end had to be rebuilt from gravity's revenge on the Z after scraping the back bumper. Besides the oil pan and thrust bearing, which were fixed at the track, the front shocks were bent as well as the K-member. After replacing the offending pieces, the motor was inspected and the stall converter was changed. New lower control arm relocation brackets from Moser were added to the rear as well, and a new air-to-water intercooler from Procharger has been retrofitted to the front end. Word is Exotic may also be taking its new GTO race car and Bob Johnson's Prochaged CTS-V (featured in GMHTP) to the Shootout as well. Updates to come.
