For all the griping us editors do, we can never claim that this job is not without its perks. Last month at the Katech Track Attack I took one of the most memorable rides of my life in Pratt & Miller's C6RS with Ron Fellows behind the wheel. As some of you may know, Pratt & Miller puts together the C6.R race car for the American Le Mans Series as well as the (original French) 24 Hours of Le Mans and the SCCA Speed World Challenge. Ron has piloted the C6.R, and the C5R before it, to many ALMS and 24 Hours of Le Mans championships to say nothing of his success in NASCAR and with other organizations. As an avid fan and enthusiast of road racing and Corvettes, Fellows is my Elvis. I regret only that I found out after I had hung out with him that the Ontario, Canada-native is a huge hockey fan (like myself). I would have loved to have discussed the future of his beloved Maple Leafs. Check out our upcoming September 2008 issue to find out what we did discuss.
