Two covers for your viewing pleasure!

I have some exciting news for you GMHTP collectors out there: two different covers for our May 2008 issue!

This plan was hatched to take advantage of the many looks of Jaimie Leigh, our cover model. You see, Jaimie was hired to pose in front of Scott Parker's totally revamped (courtesy of Classic Restorations in Pine Island, NY) LT1 Formula. For those of you who remember what this thing looked like before, you are going to be blown away! Problem was, in addition to being lovely, professional, easy to work with, and handy with guns, she looked outstanding in whatever outfit she was wearing.
The solution was to create and print two completely different covers: Cover #1 would go to the newsstands and to our subscribers. And to have a little fun with it, and to create something truly rare and worth collecting, a special run of the other version would be printed and sent out to the automotive chain stores that carry GMHTP.  
The Cover #2 issue will go on sale April 1, only at Advance Auto Parts, Autozone, Checker/Kragen/Schuck's, Pep Boys, and Strauss Discount Auto. Be sure to grab a copy of what is sure to be one of the rarest GMHTPs ever!
