General Motors plans to sell cars in the United States that it makes in China, starting in 2011. That could make GM the first major automaker to import Chinese cars to the U.S. market.

News on the GM bondholder situation

General Motors' bondholders today presented an alternate restructuring plan for the automaker, calling for a deal allowing them to control 51 percent of the reorganized company in exchange for $27 billion in debt.
